More About our Linebacker  & Defensive Line Training

Linebacker and Defensive line training at a high school, college, and pro level focusing on developing specific abilities required at the defensive position.

 

Linebacker (LB)  Training:

  • Prioritize proper stance and footwork, crucial for both run and pass plays, with drills focusing on enhancing lateral movement and agility.

  • Hone open-field tackling and pursuit techniques to excel in game scenarios.

​

  • Perfect pass coverage skills, including man-to-man and zone coverage, with drills emphasizing proper footwork, hip turn, and ball reaction.

​

  • Master blitzing techniques for precise timing and angles, leveraging speed and agility to disrupt opposing offenses.

​

  • Build strength and explosiveness through structured weight training programs, complemented by agility drills to enhance quickness and explosiveness.

  • Cultivate effective communication skills to foster leadership on the field, ensuring clear and concise interaction with defensive backs and linemen.

Defensive Line (DE+DT)  Training:

  • Master proper stance for balance and explosiveness, ensuring precise alignment relative to the ball.

​

  • Enhance quickness off the line with focused get-off drills, sharpening reaction time to ball movement.
     

  • Develop elite hand-fighting techniques to effectively shed blockers, emphasizing strength and precise placement of hands.
     

  • Learn a multitude of effective pass-rush moves and their strategic integration for maximum impact.
     

  • Excel in run defense with emphasis on gap control, maintaining integrity, tackling techniques, and optimal pursuit angles.
